Teaches the latest evidence-based patient counseling techniques on Motivational Interviewing-Brief Intervention Techniques focused on smoking cessation. Motivational Interviewing is the gold standard in patient counseling/behavior modification and is one of the best ways to help your patient deal with chronic diseases or initiate lifestyle changes such as smoking cessation, healthy diet, exercise, etc.
This two-hour CME program is being made available through the University of Virginia and the CS2day (Cease Smoking Today) initiative. AMA PRA Category 1 credit will be awarded.
