Community Supporter
Richmond Academy of Medicine Alliance

The Richmond Academy of Medicine Alliance, Inc. was founded in 1923. It is an organization comprised of spouses of Physicians in the Greater Richmond Area. The many benefits to membership include developing new friendships in an effective support group that understands the unique lifestyle and issues of the medical family; participating in community service; and to participate in legislative activities.

RAMA maintains a significant scholarship/donation program through the RAMA Foundation, Inc., the fund-raising arm of the Alliance. Since 1963, the Foundation's objectives have been met primarily through production of an annual Antique & Fine Arts Show, traditionally held the first weekend of February at the Science Museum of Virginia in Richmond. The Alliance is proud that funds raised through the Antique & Fine Arts Show have exceeded $2 million and have been reinvested in the Richmond community! Find out more about the 2010 Antique Show!

2010's 48th Benefit Antiques & Fine Arts Show

The 2010 Benefit Antiques and Fine Arts Show will be held February 4-7, 2010. This will be the 48th year that the Alliance has produced this successful fundraising event, that has donated more than $2 million to the Richmond Metro community.

The Richmond Academy of Medicine Alliance is a non-profit organization comprised of spouses of Physicians in the Greater Richmond Area. 100% of the proceeds of our Annual Benefit Antique and Fine Arts Show funds healthcare related programs in need of support. We strive to support programs in critical need.

That said, not only does the show support worthy organizations, it is also great fun. We are fortunate enough to host antiques and fine arts dealers from all over the country who display their wares for sale. We host one of very few benefit vetted shows that do so. Even if you are not on the market for a new purchase, it is a wonderful opportunity to observe a unique cross section of the National Antiques and Fine arts community. It is an event not to be missed!
