Unfortunately, discussions involving gun safety measures have become very polarized, making it difficult to find common ground. It would be beneficial to avoid this adversarial environment, so we could work together to reduce injuries and fatalities from guns. We must see this problem from a public health perspective, just as we did for seat belts, tobacco and alcohol: with sensible laws to protect the innocent from injury. Click here for more.
